Different states...different rules. Would help if you told us what state you are in.

Here in MA, in order to qualify for classic plates, the car needs to be 25 years or older. It can be stock or modified...appearance doesn't matter. There are also stupid rules like you can only drive it on sunday and holidays and stuff like that.

lol, you want to take pictures of someone elses car, while sending in for an application for insurance? In case you didnt know, the insurance business sucks, the whole idea of insurance more or less is to save the company money. You do realise that if it got into an accident or was stolen and recovered, etc. etc. Basically any claim, once they saw it the jig would be up.

If you cant qualify as it sits, then you don't deserve to have the classic tags.

im going to try the same thing, it states something along the lines of "resembling stock condition" Mine kinda looks stock, just take the pics at an angle to make it appear to have a stock hood, but the wheels may be a different story, but i dont know why that would make a difference.

BTW my drunk azz neighbor has classic tags on her 86 iroc, and she drives it every day. Car looks like crap, and she thinks she can smoke me, but wont ever race me when we are at a light or on the highway. I think i might report her and have her tags taken away
