Ok guys, I saw the clay bar usage thread in here earlier, and went to pick one up for use on my car this weekend. I had plans to get it cleaned up and to the track, but a couple termite swarms and a poor sick g/f kept me here doing yardwork and taking care of her instead. Not complaining, just getting the excuses out of the way as to why I didnt get out to the track lol.
Anyways, she was feeling better yesterday so we went to try and find a clay bar. Seemed like a simple task, but we had no freaking luck anywhere . Advance Auto, Auto Zone, and a "specialty" shop in our area were clay barless . Anyone know a link or a site that I can just order the freaking thing from? I bought the new NTX/NXT/whatever its called wax last week and wanted to get a good coat on, but I want to clay bar it before I do.
Any help finding one or if anyone knows a substitute I can use I would be appreciative

Meguiars , then do a search for 'clay.' Or you can go with Zaino . Just be sure to follow up with a nice coat of wax, as the clay bar will be stripping off any protection you may have.

Auto zone should have them, thats where I got mine from...couldn't find it on my own, had to ask..

But yeah, meguiars is much cheaper than zaino and has very comparable results.

I've only found it in 1 store in MD... I've tried 4 places in MA/NH with no success.

I don't know why it's so hard to find.

if you search your local phone book I'm sure you can find a detailer supply shop. They will be knowledgable as to which one to buy as well (they come in different strengths as well)

Thanks guys!
Out of the 3 shops I went too, 2 of them, Advance and Auto Zone, said that they packed theirs up and shipped them back to the Meguiers
I dont know if they just arent selling that good or what the deal is. I guess Ill order one from that online site.

On a more positive note, my shop just called and my BBK L/T's, midpipe, and spec II clutch just came in and should be installed tomorrow
