I dunno what is up with that car, but its being posted nationwide. i've seen it from Minnesota (where I am) to california, etc. wonder where it really is...

That's also posted on our local 'stang forum. My bet is that it's a scam...it's too clean for the price. Someone ask him how new the tires are and see what his answer is, since you just about can't buy metrics anymore.

Well, anyone with a real '82 GT that's that clean, that has the original rims on it, likely has spent a pretty penny on tires. There are still some specialty tire places that sell those metric tires but they're literally $400+ a tire. If he's spent $1600 on tires, he wouldn't be selling the whole car for that cheap. Hell, it could be sitting on jack stands without any wheels at all and it's still worth more than that. I would imagine even without an engine it would still sell for that much if the rest of the car is as clean as it looks.

Yep we seen it on our local craiglist also. The price is very inviting to people who don't know about the scams. To bad very nice looking car I like the 82 GT's
