How do you keep the aluminum "Cobra Powered by Ford" valve covers clean and looking new. I can handle the bare machined part, but what do you use to keep the black from spotting and keep it black?

Give them a shot of clear coat?

hat's what i did. i used a gloss clear but you can also use a stain clear as well.
