Do any of you guys clean your spark plugs........Just curious....Im trying to settle a debate.

not in my car but i have a three wheeler that likes to foul plugs as if it were going out of style. it works quite well. i just wouldn't do it for my baby, only new copper cores for her

I figure if I am going to go to the trouble of pulling the plugs, I might as well put new ones back in. After all they are cheap.

I wish my plugs were cheap.......$12 each! (Denso Iridiums)

nothing, they're just more suited to n/a applications and the iridiums are supposed to fight spark blow-out on boosted apps. cool?

other than the spark blow out issue? that's about it as far as i know. popular opinion is that the 302HO performs best with a copper core plug, which it was also shipped with. i'm not sure why this is the case though.

the car is running 6 month a year, I change the plugs every springs.

This is a somewhat informative thread about Iridium Plugs. I had my car tuned at Springfield Motorsports and the first thing they did was put the Denso's in. And these guys are the real deal.

I change mine about once a year. They're so cheap, I wouldn't bother cleaning them.

I dont clean mine, nor do i know anyone that does, with the price of spark plugs its just a lot more logical to put new ones in.

I use Autolite that are under $2 a plug, most other people do too. Nothing wrong with them, and no need to buy any other kind of plugs....

If you want more spark, upgrade your ignition, not the plugs.
