Clear Fog Light Conversion Complete w/ 50watt bulbs

Hey guys, I just finished putting on the clear fogs on my 02 Gt. Beautilful during the night, but sucked a** as night thanks to the 37.5watt 899 bulb. I looked through out the owners manual, and found that the fog circuit uses a 15amp fuse. After doing some research from aftermarket lighting like hella, and piaa, found that they also use 15amp fuses for their dual 55watt H4 bulbs. This info told me that it would be safe to install 50watt bulbs on the circuit. Also compared the wiring, and the wiring is about the same gauge. I just wanted to share this info incase anybody had any neg. comments/incounters about running higher wattage lights. I added 885 sylvania's (standard) and what a difference those 50watters made. I can see!!! The light pattern is 100% better then stock. I'm really not to concerned about the wiring / fuses, so much as I am worried about the tight quarters the bulbs are in, as in distance from the bottom and top of the reflector w/ the extra heat generated from the 50watt. If anybody has any good or bad thoughts, please let me know. If you would like pics, I'll try to attach em. If I had to do it again.....I would have done it 2 years ago.

Correction - 20Amp fuse.

The 20amp fuse is also used for the Daytime Running Lights package for the canadian vehicles. So since I am not running DRL, and nothing else is running on that circuit, I think I'm pretty much safe. If I were to add additional items to that circuit, I would drop the wattage down. If what you say is factual, you must also remember one thing, if it is 18gauge, it should only be going to 1 light running 4.5amp then to the relay, then the other is the same, 18-4.5amp to relay. These wires meet up to the relay, and I believe it is a SPDT. so it has 2out leads. If anything should fail, it would most likely be the relay. Again, this is from my understanding, but I may be wrong. This would atleast be the ideal way if ford did infact build it this way with the SPDT. So I think I'm in the clear for the wiring. But thinking about it now, I'm going to have the check the relay.
