Yo everybody I am new to the list. I just got a set of the 6 piece clear headlight set for my '90. Has anyone ever put these things in? It seems hard trying to get to all of the bolts to get the stock housings loose. I was just wondering if anyone came upon any tricks to get them out quicker. Thanks for your help.

welcome. if you have ratcheting box end wrenches, it helps. one of them and a 1/4" ratchet with a swivel head was what i used.

when reinstalling, start the nuts but dont tighten any till all the rest are in - you will likely need to adjust the position of each light.

good luck.

How much different is a 90 from an 88. I just installed some headlights in an 88 and it took me 20 minutes at a slow pace. I just had a few bolts. Is the 90 front end different than an 88's? I can't remember 90's front end.

Yeah that's pretty much what I figured.....that it just takes time and patience. And yes the front end of my 90 should be the same as the 88. Funanin, your profile says you're in Horsham? I live in Hatboro...if I have any trouble getting these things in, would you be available for any con$ulting?
