Did they look something like this?

Got into the 30s today so I figured I would dig these out.

(BTW: BadII, these don't quite fit in the "restrictive" or "choke off" manifold catagory).









Electrolysis would probably be a good idea.

These came from one of the first Clevelands built, I don't remember the exact dates but they are all in the same week or so around the summer of '70.

Ehhhh.. no... not exactly. For one, it wasn't a 4v engine. At least I don't think so. the manifolds were completely smooth, no ribbing. I noticed that this pair you're showing has a support rib down the outside. (or could be called a casting line) The ones in the car were completely smooth, but not ground down by the owner. You could still see the casting and little bits of flashing, like they were casted smooth like that.

And you're right, those are damn good flowing manifolds! About a step away form cast Iron headers

Warts headers look just like the ones presently on mine.
I just picked up a set of tubes that utilize a motor plate
instead of the stock motor mounts. No room for the 1.88
diameter tubes.
These things are huge I hope they fit....should know sometime
this summer

I should have posted these are DOAE parts, Ford generic manifolds for the 4 bbl Cleveland. I don't know if Ford made a Z manifold.
