So far after about 6 weeks of ownership, the only complaint I have with my '06 GT is the clunky suspension. The front end sounds like it's going to come out of the car when I hit a substantial bump. Is there any aftermarket fix for this?
I've had mine for 10 days, but my clunks seem to happen over small bumps. It sounds like some of the parts are loose. I think it's normal, though. It's more of a sound insulation issue. These cars don't have much of that.
One thing to check is the upper bolt on the front end link. Coming from the bottom of the Control arm to the stut just at the top of the front tires. Mine was noisey as hell after dropping it a few inches... checked the right side and found that I had not fully tightened the upper bolt that connects to the strut. Got another 3/4 turn and all of the boise is now gone.
