bought the adjustable clutch cable, upr firewall adjuster, and single hook quadrant from late model restoration,for my 00 gt, when i put in i left factory cable in, added the quadrant and firewall adjuster, but i cant get clutch to engage right it engages when u push clutch in the first 2-3 inches and disenages the clutch 2-3 in from the release? if i turn adjuster all way out then clutch engages and disengages like .5 inch from pedal depressed, and if i put adj all the way into firewall the clutch has 2 inches of dead play before it starts to pull cable? what am i doing wrong? has anyone had this same problem?, and or solutions ? my clutch is still in good shape and isnt worn out,
