hi all

new here so hello to everyone ,right now thats done lol ...
i have had to replace my v6 clutch on my 1998 mustang so after four hours of rusted bolts ... i got the transmisson stripped out bell houseing off so all gone well in that sence .. so this is my prob if u can call it that the clutch in the car, now is a made in china thing that the throw out bearing is seperated into three parts not good ...

so i go to autozone and order a new clutch kit and i pick it up it looks like the rubbish thats already in there, the throwout bearing looks cheap and nasty and badly made ... im gona return it .. so my question is this wat is a good well made clutch kit for reasonable money for a dailey driver ...

are the xtc stage 1 or 2 clutches any good ? suggestions please i dont want to do this job twice .

im not new to cars but i am new to usa cars as im a brit living in the usa but i do have to say the mustang is pretty much like a ford escort mark 2 from the uk underneath ,lol, anyways thxs for any advice you give ..

No to those kits you mentioned. You want to stay with the brands Mustangs have always had great success with: SPEC, RAM, CENTERFORCE, FIDANZA,- You can go to AmericanMuscle.com for easy purchasing and customer service. They have the pilot bearings and throw out bearings too. You can call them anytime with questions. They provide directions and videos too.
Good Luck! Please update your choice!!

was starting to think these lot are helpful lol .... i did look at those clutches but my budget cant go that far at this point in time . ive orderd a xtd stage three clutch kit , ment to come with a upgraded throw out bearing so we see.. i have read some good things about them on the net ,also i guess any kit can be a bad kit if not fitted right in the first place .. so we give this ago ill give you a update when its in and running thanks again for the reply ..
