Clutch noise

Several months ago, I had my clutch replaced. It turned out that the throw-out bearing was bad and started making noise. (a slight ticking that went away when I pressed down on the clutch) Needless to say, I returned to the garage that did the work and made them swap it out. (they say they installed a new clutch kit) A while ago I noticed the noise again, but the clicking sound goes away when I put my foot on the clutch. I don't even need to put any pressure on it, just a little bit and it is silent again. I took the car back to the garage again and they took another look at it along with their parts salesperson Anyways the explaination they gave me was that this was not the throw-out bearing since I don' t have to acutally engauge the clutch for the noise to go away, just touch the pedal. They said that Ford knows about this noise and they fixed it by redesigning the clutch fork. Unless I wanted to put a new clutch fork in, I'd just have to live with the noise. I'm sorry but I don't buy that. Anyone have any hints for me?

I'll try the preload trick. I'm NOT into dropping the tranny ... I would have turned up my stereo, but 4 weeks ago someone stole everything .... take note setting your alarm means NOTHING. (they pulled my battery terminals off)
