I just had a Center Force duel friction clutch "installed" in my car. Well first I asked the shop to put in a King Cobra clutch but they said they could not find one to fit my tranny. ? They kept getting one for a T45 and I have a TR3650 in my car. They had my car for 3 days. ???
I was getting a lot of clutch chatter before the install so I figured I need a new clutch. (85,000 miles) The chatter was only for a few miles after the first start up in the morning and only when the clutch was disengaged. Sounded like the engine was falling apart though.
After the install... Chatter still there. Still only when disengaged. The only difference I see with the "new" clutch is the clutch is engaging at the top of the peddle now instead of at the bottom like the "old" clutch did. Shouldn't the Chatter be gone now?
Anybody have any thoughts on this?
