Clutch Recommendations...

So, my clutch went out tonight on the Bullitt. So I'm wanting recommendations on what to upgrade to. I'll be buying a new Findanza Aluminum Flywheel instead of having the old one resurfaced. What do you guys think I should go with?

Right now here's what I've got/ will have on the car soon.

K&N Filter
BBK O/R X-Pipe
SLP LM II Catback
4.10 Gears
MGW Short Throw
Patriot Performance Billet Cams
XCal 2 w/ Tune

This car is my daily driver and my plans for it are to stay N/A with a possibility of some N2O down the road. I'm basically wanting it to be an all around good performing car. I do go to the track on weekends and I want something that is going to last.

I was looking at the SPEC Stage 2, but then realized it's only a few more dollars to step up to the Stage 3. What do you guys think?

Centerforce DF clutch.
That is what I will be getting.

Any reason you're going with the Centerforce. I'm back to looking at SPEC Stage IIs right now.

i was looking at the fidanzza 3.1 or spec stage 3. they both might be a little bit too much clutch if you dont plan on any more mods but some ported heads would be great for your car. I also remember a test in 5.0 or mm&ff where they blew up a spec clutch the first time at the track.

both the centerforce and the spec are nice clutches. If you get the spec I would go stage II on your car..

My buddy has a spec III on his camaro SS. He only has bolt ons making 350hp and a viper spec T56 and his clutch is slipping bad now at just over 20k miles. I'd say go with another brand.

I would choose the centerforce DF clutch... good holding capacity and not too much pedal effort

+1 thats what i plan on getting since mine is pretty beat up right now

I have a spec II and it pretty good. Although that throwout bearing was a piece of crap. Started to make all kinds of noise after a week.
