Yeah thats what i meant Chris..Someone told me you cold just remove the bellhousing from the tranny, leaving it connected to the engine and do it like that

I think he meant remove the tranny from the bellhousing...
The bellhousing needs to be removed to change the clutch, but you can and should remove the tranny from the bellhousing before removing the bellhousing from the engine.
