I have a 90 GT with a T-5 manual transmission. The trans wiring harness was pretty hacked up so I decided to replace it with a brand new one from LMR. The car always started without the clutch engaged before I replaced the harness. Now that that I replaced the trans harness the car won't start. Doesn't make sense to me as everything was fine before I replaced the harness.
I pulled the 2 connectors off the clutch safety switch at the clutch and jumped them. Still no start.
Pulled the blue wire off the starter solenoid and touched the posts with a screwdriver and it started. Consequently, problem is in the clutch safety switch but if it is jumped out, it should start.
I don't think that it makes a difference but the T-5 in the car is actually out of a 94.
