I just bought a new throw out bearing and according to my haynes manual it says to pack the inside of the bearing with lithium grease. I have white based lithium grease in a spray aresol can. Should I spray this into the opening on the inside diameter of the bearing or just use wheel bearing grease? I put wheel bearing grease on my old one and unless its just that it was already going bad I just had the car out for the first time today and the old bearing is screaming. So I dont want to make the same mistake with the new one. So any help would be appreciated.
