I need a new clutch and am wondering what kind I should get. Anyone have any brands or levels they would recommend? This is also on a stock car. Thanks

I like my Centerforce DF clutch with my Fidanza flywheel. Seems alot of people with your 3650 trans are having problems with Mcleod. Do a forums search, there is so much clutch info on this board it's stupid.

Yeah if it's a stocker car with little abuse then stock clutch isn't a bad option.

Yah, it would only see track once in a while at most. Plus I've seen plenty of stock clutches last for quite a while with power adders even.

I also have a centerforce DF and I like it. it has near stock drivability and grips really good. I recomend a quadrant and firewall adjuster with and aftermarket clutch.

I can't complain. I beat the piss out of my car on a daily basis and it has not bitched or moaned once since the install. This weekend will be the test when I put it on the jug on sticky tire.

I just installed a Fidanza 2.1 w/ an aluminum flywheel and so far I like it. Pedal effort feels pretty much stock. Also installed a new cable, quadrant, & cable adjuster at the same time.

I have a McLeod clutch setup. If you follow the link in my sig I have the part numbers listed there.

I've been daily driving and taking the car to the strip for a year now on this setup and I absolutely love it!

All these clutches that are mentioned...do any of you guys have clutch chatter problems? Because i have a fidanza 3.2 clutch kit and omg....its chatters like a mofo. I hate it! So the guy at lethal performance recommended a spec stage 2 clutch. My car is pretty much stock, with the usual little bolt on. What do you guys think??

The spec 2 is a good clutch but for some reason they won't last more then 25k. Even if they have life on them mine seized up.

I love my Centerforce DualFriction as well.

It's a very good clutch, even for stock cars. On my car, it is lighter than the stock clutch, and shifts much better.

I've got my second Stage III Spec and I like it.

It's a light switch clutch, since it's either off or on, but otherwise I can't complain.

The stage III is a light switch on or off clutch right? Does anyone have a stage II and do you guys like it?
