it's time for a new clutch and i want something better than the oem gt clutch, i drove a cobra the other day and liked how that clutch felt, does the cobra have the same t-3650 that my gt does? i was hoping i could just swap with a cobra clutch, does anyone know if it's just that easy or do i need a new flywheel or anything else?

What year cobra?

'03 Cobra has T-56, and I believe the '01 has T-3650.

The transmission usually doesn't dictate which clutch (pressure plate, disc, etc) you can use, but the size of the flywheel and the amount of bolts. I'm pretty sure the Cobra has a larger clutch assembly, and can't be used unless that is all swapped over. But you can't put a 6 bolt on an 8 bolt. :nice:

03's have a bigger flywheel so it's not gonna work...

however 99 and 01 cobras should work and pre-99 sn95's should work as well...

the flywheels have different bolt patterns as well...
