I found a real good deal on a 5.0 cobra intake manifold, injectors, fuel rails, and heads, supposedly off a cobra motor, anyone know what casting numbers i should look for on the heads to verify what they actually are? thanks

easy ways, they will say gt on them, and have three vertical bars on the front/back

There is no cobra head...the 93 "cobra" used a GT40 iron heads and different cam than the GT's. The cam ford used for the cobra edition and it's computer are considered mediocre..with the computer having conservative timing curve and the cam a little soft as well compared to the GT's. The iron GT 40 heads can be found all over..they are reliable and a nice kick over the stockers..even better ported.
