My lower intake had a few stripped threads and I lost confidence in it. I bought a new one and found that it had a larger oil baffle for the pvc port. I believe this to be an improvement. In the picture the old intake is on the left and the new is on the right.

If I remember right, my baffle is quite large.

Mine has the small baffle (SVO).

I've got the smaller baffle on my lower, must be an older one.
