Cobra Motor swap

I have plans to swap my 99 3.8 V6 motor for a 2001 cobra motor as soon as the car is paid off. I am going to have a local ford dealer do the work since the are a dealer and installer of the ford racing parts. I understand pretty much everything that will be involved with the install like the 8.8 rear end, computer and wiring, fuel upgrades and all that stuff but what i would like to know is what i can do now. What performance non power adder stuff can i purchase and put on it now,and do i purchase cobra or v6 stuff? for example i want to put some suspension upgrades on it do i buy v6 suspension components or cobra suspension components. I also plan to put on some 17" chrome bullits and the 13" cobra brakes. If you can help me out in any way i would appreciate it very much. Or if you know of anything i can do to it that isnt a power adder let me know.

put cobra performace stuff on it, seeing as you will have the cobra motor and need to be able to support the power and weight of the motor

put some headers on now! You will want to do this while the engine is out..and not at a later date..where you will pay more on labor than the actual parts...

don't forget to upgrade the clutch...you need to do that too
