Do they make a fiberglass cobra r hood for a 67? I have one on my 96 cobra and like the way it goes in 3 steps to the cowl part. I need it to hide part of my blower, I have looked everywhere and can't find one. Do they make them for our years?

doubtful, the lines wouldnt flow with the car, being rounded....you could always make one(with straighter lines though)

+1, but then I dont think the thunderbolt hood looks right either, if you wanted, you could always take a late model cobra R hood, cut out the cowl/scoop and mold it into the stock hood

If I could find a cowl hood that has good fitment and wouldnt need a ton of work, then I would have already put one on my 65. Thats the only thing holding me back.

Yeah Carhoods.com has one; it actually looks pretty awesome IMO, however its a bit pricey, nearly $500.

Hey, that thing looks pretty cool. I never would have thought of that! I'd have to seek it on an early stang before I could buy one but it looks good on the website.
If you do it take a lot of pictures and make sure to share them.

thats an '00 R hood. he might be talking about the '95 R hood? which is more like a 3step cowl, no vents in the middle.

It was the 3 step one but that looks good also. I need a cowl part to hide my blower linkage and stuff. With a cowl it wouldn't stick out so much. I hate to pay the 500.00 dollars...

I think if you call they have some kind of rebate if you get it painted, installed, and a picture set to them in a timely manner.
