cobra R hood wont close on 03 front bumper?

I got a cobra R hood and it wont close because my 03 cobra front bumper is about 1/2 inch taller where it comes up between the tail lights. I tried moving th hinge but i cant get enough adjustment....is this a common problem??

Yes. The hoods & front facia on the 03/04 are a different size than previous SN95's.
