I'm curious if some 17x9 Cobra R's would fit a 93 grand Cherokee. I'm not going to put them on the mustang because I'm not a big fan of the big wheels on those. I like the meaty tires. So if anyone knows, that would be AWESOME

Thanks,
Shaun

Hmmm..... Well I do know they have 5.95" back spacing and they are 5 on 4 1/2. I can only hope. That would look pretty sweet...... Maybe... Anyone have any pics?

put em on and see if they rub. They got the same bolt pattern. I think they'll fit. The axles are very wide for how small the trucks are. I have a wrangler.

With 9 inch wide wheels and basically 6 inches backspacing you'll rub your lower control arms. I was running 8 inch wide Jeep wheels with 5.5" backspacing on my Cherokee and the tires rubbed at full lock. Other that rubbing at full lock you should be ok. What ever you don't post this question on a Jeep site unless you're ready to get flamed.

low profile/car tires won't balloon out like 4x4 tires though. There's a speed demon board http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?daysprune=30&forumid=17
