Hey guys would a 2003 cobra shortblock directly bolt on to a 2003 GT motor??
would i have to do anything else if i were to add the cobra shortblock to my GT motor?
no these motoes are modular for a reason. however unless you plan on a blower than its pretty pointless to use a 03/04 cobra block because the compression is down around 8.4:1 and it would be pointless to use anything but DOHC heads.
ahh its a good shortblock, the weak point are the pistons. it should be fine to about 25psi of boost, but depending on the price it might be cheaper to build up a block with better pistons
