Hey guys need some advice. I was thinking of buying a friends stock eaton supercharger off his 2003 cobra. 1st could this setup bolt on/fit? 2nd will i need a new intake manifold over the stock plastic one? 3rd I was gona run it around 8lbs and all ready have a fuel pump upgrade, if im getting just the supercharger itself what other parts will i need to fully complete the "home-made'' kit?

did you even attempted to search or read through the forum before registering, logging in, and making this post? next time check the stickies first, followed by a search, then if nothing comes up, make a thread.

out of curiousity i would like to know your total investment in all the parts to do the job? It seems like it would be very steep, and almost more worth buying a kit made for the Gt, but maybe im wrong?

my guess would be around $2500 at least. very close to buying a new centri kit that was made for your car

do we not get

a thread like this every week? if you wanna pay that much for a supercharger why not go with a vortech or paxton....you can get a vortech for around 1500-1800 if you know how and where to look, and that's brand new everything except the headunit.

That seems like a very mix/ matched bastardized setup but maybe im wrong

Plus i like the power band that the roots has over the centri for a street driven car!

thats actually not too bad, i actually would prefere the eaton over a ctri. setup just because i absolutely loved the blow whine! I just might start looking into this setup, Please keep me advised of how your install goes.

thanks!
