Not sure if this is tech, but I just installed new Cobra tail lenses on. The problem is, the black 'lines' on the lenses, which appear to be taped on or attached with some form of adhesive, are peeling off already. Any suggestions as to how I can stop/fix this before they are ruined? Thanks.

go ahead and remove them and tape up the lenses around the part that used to be black and spray them back on with black paint.

As BK said, I would paint them. The real cobra lenses had the lines painted on. I did a similar look on my GT also with paint.

Real OEM Cobra lenses are painted.

If you prep the light right, the tape does not peel off. I pinstriped my taillights 3 years ago and they are still fine. Basically uou just wipe the entire lens down with alcohol and stripe it and it holds nicely
