Code 34

What caused this code. My car is idling up and down real quick, it is only by a couple hundred rpm but it set this code 34, which my book states "canister or egr valve control circut or EVP voltage to high" thats 3 things so how do I know what one is bad. I replaced the egr position sensor a while back could the egr valve be bad now

It's probably the valve since you already replaced the sensor. Mine just threw a code 34 last night and died on me. Tryed a rolling restart and it wouldn't run, had to pull over turn the key off then it started and ran fine. So I ordered both the sensor and valve, don't want that to happen again!
