I just ran my codes again today...about a week ago I ran them and it said Bank #1 was running lean...the code I just pulled told me that Bank #2 is running lean now and says nothing about Bank #1. What could cause one side to read lean one day and then the other the next? Is that a symptom of a bad fuel pump. I tested the fuel pressure and got 31psi and at WOT got 37psi...I am really confused on how to fix this since it seems like my fuel pump is working ok due to the fuel pressure...I don't know if it could be an intake leak or something like that since the lean condition changed sides...I am just really confused on how to fix this...any other suggestions on what I should check or what specific problem this might be?

How old are the O2 sensors? You could try testing the MAF, although that should effect the motor as a whole, and not one bank or the other.

the O2 sensors are fairly new, I cleaned the MAF also. Wish I could find out the problem so I could fix it...lol

as for the maf, i have seen maf's cuase one bank to go lean and not the other. don't ask me how cuz i don't know, but on 740's it happens quite frequently. sometimes just cleaning the maf isn't enough, you can't clean shorted elctronics.

Disconnect the neg term at the battery and let it sit for a bit. Reconnect and drive for 20 minutes. See if your MIL comes up again. You simply might be having some sort of intermittent problem.

Is the car running rough, or what is the deal? Does it run better when it's cold or warm? How about any difference in part throttle acceleration vs WOT accelleration?

We need some sort of premise to begin diagnosis.

It runs well cold and hot...it never has problems at WOT but sometimes it has trouble at part throttle cold or hot...feels like it needs more gas and I accelerate a little bit more and it gets better...but once I get back to that certain RPM it seems like it needs more gas or something..this only happens sometimes...I get an intermittent check engine light when this happens...then it goes away, like it got what it needed...will this help any? Not sure if I am coming across clear or not...Thanks for the help. Anyone?
