Just wondering what the best cold air intake is. I have a 2001 GT and I want to put in the one that will give me the best results. I see so many of them so I have no idea which one is better or what brand to with??? If anyone can help me out i would appreciate it. Thanks

I say 'Stick with what works.' K&N I'm not saying its the best, but its proven to perform. Personally I think they're all about the same.

I bought mine (home made out of aluminum pipe) from racing_guys on ebay. I paid $32 and $20 for shipping. I know it is aluminum, supposed to retain engine heat (compared to plastic), but if you talk to many, they say there is not that much gain anyways. I love it, it installed easy (no instructions) and nicely, the aluminum comes sort of brushed/polished (no efforts were done to polish, it is shiny thought). It changed my exhaust note a lot (I love it), I have realized a change in the time it takes to rev engine during acceleration. I know this sounds like a sales pitch, but I can't see spending hundredes of dollars to probably get the same results. You use the original mounting hardware for sensors, and the filter goes into fender. Comes with reusable filter and all hardware needed. I would upload pictures but they said it was too large you can veiw them at:
