As a few of you know i put on a Trickflow intake with tB and EGR and many more mods. Well the INTAKE itself is howling like crazy. Its deff. NOT the TB. I know this noise. This almost sounds like a terrible vaccum leak.
BUT....cant find it. Rechecked all vaccum and removed the intake twice now. Everything looks good. I also have a 1 inch spacer on it. Checked that thinking possible leak...but it runs good besides that damn noise.
Any common places where people make mistakes. I have the fuel pressure fitting on the back side along with the black vaccum line from the pass. side vaccum block. And than the PCV valve in the back, along with the "S" hose in the back. Then up from i have the EVAP line hooked up and a block off for the other side.
Can i use vaccum line hosing for this setup and scrap the ford hard plastic lines. Or does this system pull alot of vaccum and will colapse the lines? That way there i can be sure i have no vaccum leaks. I just installed a toyota motor at work and have new rubber vaccum lines. So it would be nice to use them.
Thanks for anything.
Matt
