Comp Cams Roller Rockers?

Ok i just picked up some 1.6 Comp Cam Roller Rockers with stud mounts and i was just wondering if theres any difference in installing them from the stock ones, do i torque them down the same or what....need a lil info thanks.

dude mustangs come with 1.6 rockers stock you should of went with 1.7's like the 93 cobra had, you just wasted your money, but ok. My 1.7's were straight bolt down not sure about yours though.

For starters... You need stud mount heads for stud mount rockers unless u had them converted. Also, there is a specific way to tighten them envloving turning each cylinder to TDC.

ya they are ready to go for the heads i have the studs torque down onto the heads but now i just need to know wat to torque the rockers down to

I've heard many different methods, but I found that generally 1/2 to 3/4 turn past zero lash is what most people seem to say.

Depends on what kind of 1.6 rockers he got. Big difference between the Stock 1.6 & a set of the FMS or Crane 1.6 Rollers

does anyone know the torque rating i can do i find it easier than doing the half turn thing

can someone please help me with this.....i tried torqueing them to 20 lbs and i couldnt turn the motor over so then i tried the 1/2 turn and when i went to start it today it jus spun like there was nothing there and the exhaust popped.....anyone?????

Do this with the lifter on the base circle of the cam and you should be fine. This is assuming you have hydraulic lifters.
