Depends on what kind of 1.6 rockers he got. Big difference between the Stock 1.6 & a set of the FMS or Crane 1.6 Rollers

can someone please help me with this.....i tried torqueing them to 20 lbs and i couldnt turn the motor over so then i tried the 1/2 turn and when i went to start it today it jus spun like there was nothing there and the exhaust popped.....anyone?????

I've heard many different methods, but I found that generally 1/2 to 3/4 turn past zero lash is what most people seem to say.

Do this with the lifter on the base circle of the cam and you should be fine. This is assuming you have hydraulic lifters.
