my engine went, and I am looking for the best places to buy engines, short or long blocks (I can get a pi head upgrade if need be), with forged internals...where have you guys seen that will be a good place to buy? right now I have a 98 gt, and I would like to stay fuel injected...

thank you!

Go to karkraft.com or dssracing.com. That is really all you need. You can try stangparts.com too but karkraft would be your best bet.

No experience but I've heard lots of good things about VT engines, too. Met them at Norwalk last year--real nice guys.

How did your engine go?

You might want to give T&J Performance a shot. I know who builds their motors and I can guarantee that they will treat you right. Here's their engine page but I recommend you giving them a call.
