Engine Complete headache need help 86 mustang

I bought an 86 mustang gt roller. The cpu it has on it is a A9L in which its clearly not factory so im guess an 89 harness is there any way i could connect the gray and black connector on driver side strut tower to the 86 harness

So the 89 harness is not plug and play. If the harness is in good shape then I would see if I could locate an 86 harness buy it and sell the 89 harness. Add the mass air conversion wiring to the 86 harness and move on.

If you are just dead set on using the 89 harness then you will need an EVTM for an 86 and one for an 89 so you can figure the wiring out.

Yes, with the necessary conversion.

That is what I have: An 86 harness with an A9L.
