This is terrible news to anyone that has ever seen him. I was lucky enough to see him in boston at the comedy connection and I've never laughed so hard. RIP.

im reading tid bits here and there that it might be an april fools joke, man i hope so but considering the number of media sources confirming it along with his mother and one of his best friends doug standhope(from the fake 'man show') i doubt it. dont know if its a joke or not but his site mitchhedberg.net is up and no mention of it and the tour dates are still up but his dates in mid may in FL are cancelled on the clubs site. im confused. but stern and opie and anthonys site both mention it and i dont think o&a and stern would participate in the same thing.
