computer ground

what pin runs to the computer ground?

According to the above diagram, pins 40 & 60, black/lt green wires are the
computer power ground.

Pin 20 is the TFI shield and computer case ground. This is different from the
computer power ground.

It is the TFI wiring shield. It keeps the TFI signals from scrambling the other computer inputs. If it isn't grounded to pin 20 and body ground, the computer inputs from the sensors can be unstable.

jackpot i think we just found my problem. gonna work on that tonight when i finish going point to point on my harness. by the way thats a big pain. i pulled the harness last night and took off all the wrapping and have been tracing every wire checking continuity

is it supposed to be wrapped around 56 36 and 20?

56, 36 and 16. 20 is the shield itself according to the diagram I posted.

i looked last night it is supposed to be wrapping 56 36 16 and tied to 20 mine is not tied to anything and the sheild is broken in places.
