what pin runs to the computer ground?
See the following website for some help from Tmoss (diagram designer) & Stang&2Birds (website host) for help on 88-95 wiring

According to the above diagram, pins 40 & 60, black/lt green wires are the
computer power ground.

Pin 20 is the TFI shield and computer case ground. This is different from the
computer power ground.

what is that braided cable stuff running through the harness? thanks for the imput J
It is the TFI wiring shield. It keeps the TFI signals from scrambling the other computer inputs. If it isn't grounded to pin 20 and body ground, the computer inputs from the sensors can be unstable.

jackpot i think we just found my problem. gonna work on that tonight when i finish going point to point on my harness. by the way thats a big pain. i pulled the harness last night and took off all the wrapping and have been tracing every wire checking continuity
