@COramprat yes, I have family that still use their old Win 7 laptops for older files we did not move all over to the new ones and for the Win10’s are dragging butt and need updated or hit with a sledgehammer.

I saw Hall n Oates in concert. 
I remember it would take me several hours to make a 110 minute with about 20-25 songs mixed cassette of music I liked. Now I can download 1000 songs in under an hour.

Computer question,
If a Win 10 laptop that should still be running smoothly wants to update to Win 11, should I let it? Will it run any slower? With Win 10, I need to turn it on and update it before I use it weekly. Otherwise, it is slow and a PITA. I took off McAffe and Chrome, and reinstalled Win 10 to get it running right a while back.
The other home computers are Win 10 (formerly 7), a Win 7, and for now, Maria’s Win 11 laptop Dell. So I’m already doing the mixed home network thing.

InsulationI'm replacing the windows in the front of the house but I think that book would be no help at all.

Not totally true. If the book is a hefty one like the Windows Resource Manual, you can use it to beat the computer into submission.I'm replacing the windows in the front of the house but I think that book would be no help at all.
