The A9L or A9P would be ideal.
You can also get these for about $100 at most auto parts stores...

You are doing a MAF conversion, correct?

So I believe that I need a computer on my car. I havn't ohmed wires out yet but my friend who works at a dealership talked to some of the ford guys then came over and helped me out. There was this wired plug looking thing in the harness coming from the TFI module and when he pulled it out the car would run but it then dies when it is plugged back in. The car will run fine when it is cranked up for a minute at most then it dies, as long as it has been sitting at least overnight. I have a 93 gt 5sp and was looking at computers on ebay. My car has a A3M. In looking at the list there are so many computers that say they are for a 87-93 MAF 5spd. Will any of them work on my car? And if so how are they different. Would any of the other computers have any performance differences at all even if small? I know that the 93 were only rated at 205 hp but some of the earlier ones were rated at 225 hp so i was wondering if I should get a 5spd computer out of a older car than mine?

Your getting a little ahead of yourself...

The first thing to do is find out what the problem is.
Buying a new ecu will not fix anything if you have a corroded wire or bad plug connection...

Start a new thread and describe your problem there. You will get better responses this way...

If possible, pull your diagnostic codes, and include them in your post.

good luck,
jason
