My Buddy Has a 2003 GT. AN old guy with a pickup truck and a trailer pulled out in front of him causing him to lock up his brakes and sliding into the curb. He wrecked two of the rims, but he has them fixed now, so everything looks good now except for the ungodly way the tire sits. The front right tire is now slanted. He tried to get it aligned all different ways to get it straight and it is better, but still not right. Do you think he could have a bent lower control arm because IMHO I think thats what it is. He was only going 30 so there is no way the frame could be bent. SO what do you guys think is wrong?

that wouldn't be an LCA then - that would be a tie rod or an A-arm. you should be able to jack up the front of the car and notice if either is bent. if it looks good then i would take it to an alignment shop and have them inspect it.

is it the camber (top of tire vs bottom) or toe (front of tire vs rear) that's messed up?

The top of the tire vs the bottom, all of the other wheels are perfectly fine. The front right tire (the damaged one) slants down. It angles out more at the top and the bottom looks normal. It looks like somebody took a sledge hammer, and pounded on the top of the tire to make it angle out at the top.

You can get new stock replacement parts for 10% over Ford's cost if you are interested. Just pm me if you want the dealer's number. Or you can talk to Randy Stinchcomb on here...he can get cheap parts as well.
