ok so this is my first convert, and i have no idea how to get the damn wax spots off the top, i could try some thing, but i dont want to damage it, so whats used to clean the top and keep it looking new? its black by the way.. i know now to be more careful with the buffer or maybe just put the top down, as it would be easier to wipe it off the leather seats than the top...help please, reallly bugging me to see the top look like it does,,thanks Jon

vinyl or canvas

i hope this isnt a dumb question, but ill ask anyway.. the top material seems like canvas but earlier posts suggest that the gts all used vinyl and the cobras were canvas...does saleen change top material or not, since car was originally a gt before saleenization. just dont want to use wrong product on it for not asking some questions...i thought vinyl would feel like the tonneau covers type material, but this top definately has a rougher fabric type feel to it, so im unsure..

It is fabric (Sorta feels like canvas) and it is stock from Ford, I don't know when they switched but my 2004 is fabric, I use Ragg Topp for Fabric tops and it works great.
