My top is currently in the down position and won't go back up. This is the info I have gathered:
-Fuse is good and I have power to the switch (only one wire going to the switch has power)
-In the back relays in my trunk, I only have power in the black/yellow wires (but it looks like they are always hot).

Here is the wiring diagram- http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/images/mustang88VertTopMotorCkt.gif

I think my switch is bad? Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

sounds like a bad switch to me. you can pull the top back up if you need to, you might need a friend though. it's kinda tough with all the lines hooked up.

While the switch is in the raise or lower mode, have you checked the switch for output power (pink = up, grey/lt blue = lower)?

If you have that, confirm it reaches the relays.

To get the top up right now, you could jump the common and normally open terminals on the raise relay.

Good luck.

Thank you for you input.. The only thing is that I'm not quite sure if the wire colors are the same because it is a switch in a different location that was rigged up by somebody else. I have had very limited time today and got to check a few wires and found that only one wire had power to the switch and the rest is mentioned above. Thanks again for helping

If you just gotta get the top up, jump the Common (the one wire at the relay with constant power) and the N.O. wire (the relay's output. Often terminal 87, or the other large gauge wire. The control side wiring has smaller wires. Of course, this is done at the user's own risk ). Use a fused jumper and raise the top this way.

When you can do your testing, check in/out voltage at the switch (or do a continuity test on the switch). If you have power passing the switch, check for it making it to the positive side of the relay's coil. Be sure the relay's ground is sound too. If you have those, it should work.

Even if you had to rewire the control part of the circuit, it's not that bad to do. If you dont have an OEM switch, you could use a couple of momentary switches.
