coolant light.

ok, my damn coolant light has been going on and off randomly for about 4/5 months now. i'm talking COMPLETELY random. anyways, yes, there is antifreeze in it , i read something about it happening on someone elses 2000 GT, is there some kind of recal for the sensor or something???

it is probably the float sensor in the tank. Try moving it up and down a little to see if it starts floating again. It's in the top right hand corner. If not you need a new tank from ford or you can take that out. Well that's what i think it is

wow im glad im not the only one with this problem im going to go try to see if this works. Thanks for postin the question.

you can take the float sensor out if you guys want instead of unpluging the hole thing

Mine comes on randomly too mostly in the morning upon first start, ill see it on turn off the car then restart it and it goes away, my friends 2000 GT does the exact same thing....
