I'm still kicking myself...

My electric fan is on a manual switch. I've got to fix that problem for sure, put a electronically controlled switch in there. Damn, I'm an idiot!!

It was just idling, I was messing with other stuff. When I saw the temp up there, I switched the fan on and the motor cooled down quickly, no visible problems or anything else, still cranks and runs normally.

Anything y'all can think of that I should look for, change the oil maybe, or am I overreacting?

btw, I'm the guy who got this notch for free, I've got about 500 bucks in it so far. I'll post the latest pics soon. It's looking a lot better, still need paint, but I've made a lot of interior improvements, cleaned up a lot small issues, and am planning on taking her to the track soon

Can't hurt to change the oil incase it got scorched. Just keep an eye on it... the damage is already done if you did any, so I wouldn't worry about it. Over heating can cause many things... gasket failure, bearing damage, warped heads, burnt valves or rings. At most, for all the longer it was hot, I'd say all you did was shorten the lifespan of the engine by a few (hundred) miles or so.
