1. who the F shifts w/ their hand like that so you can see it?
2. who forgets what gear they are in?
3. We'll never see 6th (cept for LaserRed)
4. Looks like it's for passenger ammusment

it's another gimik... but a very cool one, i like it.... infact, ive emailed a buddy of mine the link as he speaks German, hopefully he can translate and report back if it'll work.... looks like a universal fitting to me..... the programming instructions could be a ****** though, techie language never translated well....

I let a friend drive my car and he kept putting it into 3rd, because the MGW looks likes like it can be in 1,3, or 5

Just my opinion, but if you don't know what gear you are in you need an automatic!

+1, and you arn't suppose to look at your shift stick anyways...so its useless

it's just a cool thing to have but not that useful...
'tis cool though. but not for $170 either..


However I might have to kinda shift like that in the summer if my middle chrome piece on my shifter is too hot!

Agreed. Especially if it's your car you should be able to feel all the gears.

That thing is gimmicky, like a disposable razor with 5 blades. TOO COMPLICATED FOR SUCH A SIMPLE TASK! I've used a pair of vice grips as a shifter in an emergency situation before.

Nice concept for maybe a show car, though.
