Howdy folks,

I am lookin' for some feedback about your cars' fans when A/C is on. For mine, no matter the setting of the A/C, the low speed fan is all that comes on (till the car gets up to 210* anyhow. I shut AC down after that and turn on high speed manually). This is known by my meter and probing the CCRM Pins for confirmation of what I thought I heard with regard to fan noise. I thought I had read that folks say when they turn the A/C on, their high speed fan comes on. Is this how it should be?

My wiring is all stock and the fan connector doesnt have the recall circuit breaker. I have no reason to think anything has been altered. I do think it would be neat to have the high speed fan come on with the A/C on. I wonder if its programmed to not kick high speed on till the car heats up more (like how the speeds are stepped without A/C on). I welcome any thoughts and experiences with how your cars work.

Thanks!

W

Mine kicks the high speed on with the A/C on any setting IIRC.

Thanks Danny.

I'm not sure what to make of how mine works. I had always thought it was only kicking on the low speed, so I finally did pin testing and confirmed it. At first I thought it was cool for the fan recall reasoning, but now that it's hot, it sucks.

Danny, have you (or anyone else) ever seen this issue, and if so, what was the fix?
Thanks
