Cooling System: Pressure Testing?

Can you buy the tools necessary to pressure test the cooling system or do you have to go to a shop to have that done? I just want to pressurize the system to see if I can locate a coolant leak in the timing cover/waterpump area. Didn't know if you can buy the tools to pressurize the system or not?

Autozone rents them for free...I used it on my other car once. Worked like a charm!

I thought about that. But then I thought I might as well buy one if I can so I have one. Rather than having to go rent it everytime I use it. I did that with a puller when I changed my harmonic damper. I got everything back together and thought it was good. Took the puller back. Then the next day I found a problem and had to go re-rent the puller so I could take the balancer back off.

Tools are usually easily justified as a purchase the way I see it. I bought a press to rebuild my tranny hehe.
