Cost of rim repair?

I picked up a set of Original Ford Cobra R rims with good tires for $150!

Only problem is that they have some light curb rash and 1 has a small chunk gouged out on the lip. I found a local guy that repairs rims and wanted to get an idea of what I should be getting charged for him to repair the rims for me before I get an actual quote.

I thought that you couldn't/shouldn't repair aluminum rims...?

i had some aluminum pacers and my brother hit a curb putting a dent in the lip. i called a few local places and to fix it they all wanted more than a brand new rim! IRC, the rim was about 150 new...

since I picked these up so cheaply and they are really in fairly good shape.. I don't mind spend some cash to have them repaired.

I refinished some pony rims with curb damaging by using JB Weld.
